I have learned that certain online learning applications offer courses related to indigenous education. Students can learn and complete at their own pace. There are certain indigenous language learning apps through which children can learn the language and remain connected to their culture. Through digital storytelling, students can be told stories related to their culture and can appreciate its richness. By using technology, elders can share their journeys with the younger generations and can make them aware of the challenges. I liked the idea of incorporating storytelling in my lessons where children can be made familiar with the way their elders use to live. The elders can share their stories and using Puppet Pals as a technology tool the students can voice those stories and create animated content to make it real and share it with their peers. can make them aware of the challenges.
